Signing in is optional. Anyone can look up a net and report a problem with it without an account.

• Lab members who sign in have their name attached to the reports they file, instead of typing it each time.
• Net technicians sign in to record repairs and bucket tests, edit the inventory, and keep the supply count straight. An administrator invites them by email.
